Cambridge born and raised, Essen Similien graduated from Rindge and Latin high school, where he developed a passion for cutting hair. People quickly caught on to his talent, and soon he was booking cuts not just for friends and family, but for interested customers as well. Now working in his own barbershop located in Medford, Essen Similien is on a trajectory toward greatness.
